Oggi i nostri colleghi polacchi sono stati ospiti nella scuola dell’infanzia del nostro istituto con l’intento di comprendere meglio come si lavora sull’inclusione nella nostra scuola. Dopo un caffè abbiamo iniziato dall’osservazione di una sezione durante una routine mattutina. I colleghi hanno poi assistito ad una lezione di inglese, si sono divertiti a tracciare pregrafismi con il dito sulla schiuma da barba, hanno partecipato ad una lezione di motoria e in una lezione di musica hanno solfeggiato con il metodo “Suoni e Silenzi”. Al termine del nostro tour della scuola, insieme alla referente per l’inclusione dell’infanzia abbiamo illustrato ai colleghi una breve presentazione sulle nostre strategie per lavorare sull’inclusione e i progetti inclusivi realizzati nel tempo, da Elmer a Tobi astronauta passando per l’orto didattico e tutti gli altri progetti degli ultimi anni. I colleghi sono rimasti piacevolmente colpiti dalla naturalezza con cui bambini interagivano tra loro, senza vedere diversità. Hanno quindi compreso bene quanto una disabilità possa essere motivo di arricchimento per tutti. Questo confronto che ci hanno detto essere stato un’esperienza formativa per loro, è stato anche un ottimo feedback per noi, perché ci ha dato conferma che stiamo lavorando nella direzione giusta.

Serata all’insegna della condivisione e della festa quella trascorsa insieme prima della partenza dei nostri amici, con la partecipazione di molti docenti dell’Istituto. Ciascuno prepara e porta qualcosa da assaporare insieme, cibi tipici e bevande locali. Dopo un incontro in cui, a partire dalla presentazione dei rispettivi sistemi di istruzione, mettiamo insieme le nostre idee per l’innovazione, riassunte in questo padlet, e ci ringraziamo a vicenda con commozione, non ci rimane che festeggiare convivialmente questa preziosa opportunità di crescita con la promessa di un futuro che potrà contare sul bellissimo confronto appena avviato.
Ci sentiamo tutti più ricchi, umanamente e professionalmente e pronti a diffondere e condividere con quante più persone possibile la nostra esperienza. Grazie per averci seguito ed aver preso parte insieme a noi a questa sorprendente avventura!

Today our Polish colleagues were guests at our institution’s preschool with the intention of gaining a better understanding of how we work on inclusion in our school. After a coffee, we began by observing a section during a morning routine. Colleagues then attended an English lesson, enjoyed tracing pre-graphics with their finger on shaving foam, participated in a P.E. class, and in a Music lesson using the “Sounds and Silences” method. At the end of our tour of the school, together with the teacher responsible for preschool inclusion, we gave colleagues a short presentation on our strategies for working on inclusion and on the inclusive projects carried out over time, from the story of the astronauts Elmi and Tobi to the learning garden and all the other projects done in recent years. Colleagues were pleasantly impressed by the naturalness with which children interacted with them, without seeing diversity. They therefore understood well how much a disability can be a positive source for everyone. This confrontation, which they told us was a learning experience for them, was also very good feedback for us, because it gave us confirmation that we are working in the right direction.

An evening of sharing and celebration the one spent together before the departure of our friends, with the participation of many teachers from the Institute. Everyone prepares and brings something that we enjoy together, typical foods and local drinks. After a meeting in which, starting with the presentation of our respective education systems, we put together our ideas for innovation, summarized in this padlet, and we thank each other with emotion, we celebrate this precious opportunity for growth with the promise of a future that can count on the beautiful confrontation that has just begun.
We all feel richer, personally and professionally, and ready to spread and share our experience with as many people as possible.Thank you for following us and taking part with us in this amazing adventure!
