Nella mattinata abbiamo occasione di osservare le interessanti lezioni di letteratura spagnola, storia, geografia e tecnologia. Cominciamo con un’originale narrazione della trama di “La vida es sueño” di Calderón de La Barca, attraverso disegni animati realizzati dagli studenti e di “La casa de Bernarda Alba” di Federico Garçía Lorca. Dopo averci presentato, sempre con immagini autoprodotte, la storia di quest’ultima opera, alcune alunne proiettano un corto di cui sono le attrici protagoniste, per rappresentarne la scena preferita. Ci troviamo poi a sfidarci in un Kahoot preparato per noi per verificare la nostra attenzione rispetto ai contenuti presentati. Una bella sfida! Nel laboratorio di storia apprezziamo l’uso dell’app Plickers per apprendere velocemente il livello di conoscenza che gli studenti hanno acquisito rispetto ad alcuni contenuti; nella lezione di geografia, condotta dal nostro caro collega Alberto, ci facciamo conquistare dai colorati cartelloni realizzati dagli alunni per parlarci di varie città italiane che secondo loro vale la pena visitare. Infine, abbiamo modo di apprezzare l’attrezzatissimo laboratorio di tecnologia dove il nostro collega Fran ci spiega il lavoro che svolge con i ragazzi: dalla costruzione di semplici oggetti per riutilizzare materiali di scarto alla progettazione di oggetti 3D e realizzazione di manufatti resi dinamici grazie a vari linguaggi di programmazione. Dopo aver passeggiato sulle colline sopra alla scuola, godendo di un’inaspettata vista su Villacañas per dirigerci verso l’acquisto di un ottimo formaggio, riceviamo con emozione e gratitudine i nostri attestati. Nel pomeriggio visita alle case sotterranee, i silos, dimore delle persone povere della zona fino alla metà del ‘900 e, ancora, passeggiata a Consuegra, tra i mulini a vento di don Chisciotte. Una giornata memorabile conclusa da una cena molto allegra, sebbene il commiato si avvicini.
In the morning, we have the opportunity to observe interesting lessons in Spanish Literature, History, Geography and Technology. We begin with an original narration of the plot of “La vida es sueño” by Calderón de La Barca, through animated drawings made by the students, and of “La casa de Bernarda Alba” by Federico Garçía Lorca. After presenting us, again with self-produced images, the story of the latter work, some of the pupils project a short film in which they are the leading actresses, to represent their favourite scene. We then have a challenge playing a Kahoot prepared for us by the students to test our attention to the presented contents. Quite a challenge! In the History workshop, we appreciate the use of the Plickers app to quickly learn the level of knowledge the students have acquired with respect to certain contents; in the Geography lesson, led by our dear colleague Alberto, we are won over by the colourful posters made by the students to tell us about various Italian cities that they think are worth visiting. Finally, we get to appreciate the very well-equipped technology lab where our colleague Fran explains the work he does with the students: from the construction of simple objects reusing waste materials to the design of 3D objects and the creation of artefacts made dynamic thanks to various programming languages. After walking in the hills above the school, enjoying an unexpected view of Villacañas, we receive our certificates with emotion and gratitude. In the afternoon, we visit the underground houses, the silos, dwellings of the poor people of the area until the middle of the 20th century and, again, later, we have a super relaxing walk in Consuegra, among Don Quixote’s windmills. A memorable day ended with a very cheerful dinner all together, although we’re going to say goodbye to each other very soon.
